These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lion City Expeditions website at lioncityexpeditions.com and your participation in any Lion City Expeditions travel experience ("Expedition"). Lion City Expeditions is operated by Cactus Equity Group, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
By accessing our website, joining our waitlist, or booking an Expedition, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
All Expeditions require a confirmed booking and full payment according to the schedule provided at the time of booking. Joining the waitlist does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when we have received the required deposit or full payment and issued a written confirmation.
All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and are subject to change prior to booking confirmation. Once a booking is confirmed and deposit received, the quoted price is locked for that Expedition. Prices are based on double occupancy unless otherwise stated. Single supplement pricing is available upon request.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing through our website. The following refund schedule applies based on the date we receive your written cancellation notice relative to the Expedition departure date:
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the cancellation request. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellation circumstances.
All travelers are required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure. Your travel insurance must cover, at minimum:
Proof of travel insurance must be provided no later than 60 days before the Expedition departure date. Failure to provide proof of adequate travel insurance may result in cancellation of your booking with no refund.
You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond the return date of your Expedition. You are also responsible for obtaining any required visas, vaccinations, or travel permits. We are not liable for any costs or consequences resulting from inadequate travel documentation.
Our Expeditions involve moderate physical activity including walking, standing for extended periods, and navigating uneven terrain. You must disclose any medical conditions, physical limitations, or dietary requirements that may affect your ability to participate. We reserve the right to require a medical clearance letter if we have concerns about a traveler's ability to safely participate.
All travelers are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to fellow travelers, guides, local communities, and cultural customs. We reserve the right to remove any traveler whose behavior is disruptive, dangerous, or disrespectful, without refund. This includes but is not limited to:
While we make every effort to operate Expeditions as described, we reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any time due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, local regulations, safety concerns, venue closures, or transportation disruptions. Substitutions of comparable quality will be made when possible. Itinerary changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Lion City Expeditions and Cactus Equity Group, LLC act as organizers and coordinators of travel experiences. We are not the direct providers of airline services, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, tour operations, or dining establishments. Accordingly:
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government actions or restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, airline failures, or extreme weather events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements or future travel credits, but are not obligated to provide refunds beyond what is required by law.
All content on the Lion City Expeditions website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design elements, is the property of Cactus Equity Group, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms or your participation in an Expedition shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cactus Equity Group, LLC, Lion City Expeditions, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your participation in an Expedition, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
